Tuesday Afternoon

Dear Mom,

Just got back from hearing the articles of War read and seeing a movie same as well as one on Sex Hygiene, something which has been stressed a great deal since I've been in the Army.

It is very cold here, way down below freezing, and has been all day; in fact, there were quite a few snow fluries all during the morning, but none of the flakes stayed on the ground.

We had an inspection this morning and the liutenant wasn't pleased with the sight he saw; therefore we had to GI the barracks from top to bottom, not once, but twice.  I also caught latrine duty for the first time this morning, but I didn't mind so much.

Please send no letters addressed in the two previous ways in which I wrote my return address; there has been another change.  I will receive any letters addressed like that, however, so don't worry if you have written.

Lots of love for you and Louie from your son,

Ben
